GamTubes™ are sleeves manufactured using GamColor® color filter that easily slip over fluorescent or LED tubes in order to change their color or color temperature. These gel-only sleeves are an excellent and economical choice to simulate neon, reduce glare or to color correct film/TV/video productions and architectural installations. GamTube is available for T5, T8 and T12 tubes.
SuperTube™ features a first layer of UV Filter (closest to the lamp) a second layer of GamColor® and a third layer of an additional UV filter. The first layer of UV is to protect the color from the high UV content of the fluorescent lamp. The outside layer of UV filter protects the color from the long-term exposure to any external UV sources. SuperTubes are particularly recommended for use on T8 and T5 fluorescent bulbs. High concentrations of UV can be found right on the bulb itself that can fade the colorant inside the GamColor quickly.
