Creating romance on a small budget

Beginning of play. I wanted to portray the feeling of a closed, confined space in keeping with the director's concept. I also wanted to indicate the hope of a possible brighter future. R349 did this.

The Velveteen Rabbit is about a boy who receives a toy rabbit for Christmas, the rabbit becomes his best friend and in the end becomes a real rabbit. The first photo shows the forest look that occurs during the play, the feeling of playfulness as well as spirit is best depicted I thought through R-52. The second photo is of one of the toys in a frozen state. The toys come to life during the play but not all the time, this look was to convey a sleep type mode for the character.
